Questions about this product? ↗The STAPERM™ ZN-4-PTH is a portable zinc/zinc sulfate reference electrode for taking potential measurements through concrete.
Technology and construction
The PTH heavy portable series combines a porous ceramic contact plug with a compact PVC housing for taking potential measurements through concrete. The design provides a portable reference contact that can be repositioned across the survey surface.
Key advantages
- Concrete survey application: Designed for field measurements through concrete, including surveys of embedded reinforcing steel.
- Porous ceramic contact: Provides ionic contact at the concrete surface when used with the appropriate surface preparation and measurement procedure.
- Compact heavy portable form: The short housing is convenient to position and handle during repeated surface measurements.
- Chemistry identification: Color coding distinguishes the reference chemistry at the job site.
Applications
Potential surveys through concrete and assessment of concrete-encased reinforcing steel. Choose the reference chemistry to suit the survey procedure and site conditions.
