Questions about this product? ↗Visilock provides a pre-filled gel enclosure for cathodic protection cable splices. Its semi-transparent, re-enterable housing allows access to the connection, while the locking mechanism centers the splice.
Specifications and features
- Pre-filled with SmartGel.
- For tap and branch connections in insulated cable up to 100V.
- Temperature range: -40°C to 90°C (-40°F to 194°F).
- Main conductor range: #8 to 1/0; cable outside diameter 0.363–0.625 in.
- Tap conductor range: #12 to #4; cable outside diameter 0.305–0.443 in.
- Operating current must remain within the conductor temperature rating.
- SKU 98010: one piece per box.
